Oxygen probes utilize zirconia ceramic as the sensitive element, measuring the oxygen content of the measured area by the oxygen electromotive force generated through the difference in oxygen concentration between the inside and outside of the zirconia at high temperatures (usually above 650℃). This measurement method is based on the Nernst equation, which can calculate the relationship between the oxygen partial pressure and oxygen electromotive force of the measured gas.
