Dutch bricks originated in the Netherlands, a type of brick created during the Dutch process of reclaiming land for urban development. Afterward, the Shub洛克公司 in the United States modified and invented a pavement brick with strong water-absorbing capabilities, known as Shub洛克 pavement bricks. In the 1990s, Chinese technicians developed a type of pavement brick with permeable holes and excellent water permeability based on the Shub洛克 brick principle. Made from crushed stone, cement, and adhesive additives, this brick is the permeable brick used on municipal road surfaces. Dutch bricks have multiple functions, including good water permeability, breathability, water retention, cooling, noise reduction, climate regulation, air quality improvement, and maintaining surface water circulation. Now, they are widely used in the reconstruction of stations, airports, and urban road projects, having become a popular and favored paving stone.
