Out-of-the-box, it's ready to use with pre-built applications, including the ability to add quantity and/or location data to various scanned barcodes, confirm container contents match external labels, and even add location data when counting inventory at a distance from the host. For staff, there's no learning cost — if they can use the scanner, they can use the pre-built applications. Future customization capabilities meet specific application needs.

The DS3678-KD captures high-quality document photos effortlessly. With an image viewer, staff can quickly review images before sending them to the host. Zebra's intelligent document capture feature automatically corrects and brightens document images. Supports multiple OCR fonts for fast and easy data transfer.

Effortlessly gather label data for superior inventory management.

With Label Parse+, the DS3600-KD can immediately capture and parse the GS1 barcode data on products, assisting staff in easily gathering a large volume of data, including expiration dates and batch/production locations.

Press the scan trigger once to read up to 20 barcodes

With the Multi-Code Scanning (MDF) feature, a single scan with the DS3600-KD series is enough to capture multiple barcodes and transmit the required barcodes in the expected application sequence.

Enhanced order picking processing capabilities

Staff can easily select and collect individual barcodes from any picking list.

Flexible feedback model

This scanner features multiple feedback modes, including vibration, a wrap-around LED that's easy to see from all angles, a buzzer, and a Zebra direct decode indicator that projects light onto the scanned barcodes. You can mix and match the appropriate feedback modes based on your environment.

Use AutoConfig Instant Workflow Switch

Since the scanner settings are stored in the base, you simply pair the DS3600-KD with a different base to automatically configure the scanner for a new host application. For instance, you can remove the scanner from a forklift and use it for freight without manually changing the settings.

Extra-durable base and charging contact design

The DS3600-KD scanner in this series features an IP65-rated sealed base. Its industrial charging contact points are designed to withstand 250,000 insertions. Zebra's proprietary Connect+ contact technology ensures reliable charging and corrosion-free contacts throughout the scanner's lifespan.

Tracking Scanner, Prevents Workflow Disruption

With Virtual Tether, you needn't worry about customers accidentally taking the scanner during self-checkout, nor about warehouse staff leaving it behind on the pallets. Should the scanner be taken out of Bluetooth range or stay away from the base for longer than the set time, both the scanner and the base will alert the user.
