Golf carts should control the charging time. Generally, the batteries are charged at night, with an average charging duration of about 8 hours. If the cart is shallowly discharged (short driving range after charging), the battery will be quickly full, and continued charging will lead to overcharging, causing the battery to lose water, heat up, and reduce its lifespan. Therefore, charge the battery once when the discharge depth is between 60% and 70%. During actual use, this can be converted to riding distance, and necessary charging should be performed according to the actual situation to avoid harmful charging.

Do not store golf carts with depleted batteries. A depleted state refers to the batteries of electric golf carts, electric sightseeing vehicles, and electric food carts not being recharged promptly after use. This can lead to salt formation and lead crystallization on the plates, blocking the ion channels and causing insufficient charging and a decrease in battery capacity. The longer the depleted state is left unused, the more severe the battery damage becomes. When the battery is not in use, it should be charged once a month to extend its lifespan.

When driving a golf cart, maintain a steady speed to avoid excessive noise from acceleration. Always be aware of other golfers around you. If you see someone preparing to hit a ball, stop immediately and wait until the shot is made before resuming your cart's journey.
