Most sewage pumps on the market are vertically arranged, with the pump and motor on the same shaft, which makes the weight of the rotating parts align with the water pressure on the impeller; secondly, submersible sewage pumps are used underwater, and the transported sewage medium contains impurities, sludge, and other substances; thirdly, submersible sewage pumps are a type of centrifugal pump, where the power always increases with the increase in flow rate. When the flow rate exceeds the designed flow rate and reaches a certain level, the motor can be damaged due to overload.
WQ Type Submersible Non-Clog Sewage Pump Structure:
The WQ type submersible non-clog sewage pump is composed of the motor and pump sections, which are separated by an oil isolation chamber and a mechanical seal assembly, making it an integrated motor product. The motor and pump share the same shaft (rotor), resulting in a short overall pump length and a compact structure. Equipped with various protective devices, the pump operates safely and reliably. The main functions of its components are as follows:
WQ Submersible Non-Clogging Sewage Pump Structure
Signal Line 1: Equipped with a fully-protected pump control cabinet, offering protection for the pump against issues such as water leakage, phase failure, short circuit, overheating, and motor overload.
Stator: Utilizing B or F grade insulation.
Leakage Sensor 11: This component is installed in the oil chamber. When the mechanical seal is damaged, water enters the oil chamber, and the sensor can send a signal to the control system for pump protection.
Mechanical Seal 13: Utilizes double-string sealing, made of a new, hard, and corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide material, featuring reliable sealing, wear resistance, and long service life.
Impeller 17: The impeller features a single or double-vane structure, offering strong throughput capability, enabling it to pass large materials and fibrous debris, thereby reducing clogging and entanglement issues.
Pump Series 15: Designed for use with impellers to enhance pump efficiency.
Seal Ring 18: Installed at the pump body's mouth ring. Replaceable when the mouth ring wears due to impeller operation, ensuring optimal pump efficiency.
Section 9: Features of WQ Non-Clog Sewage Pump Impeller Design:
To ensure smooth passage of sludge, it is necessary to increase the width of the impeller's flow surface. For large pumps, double or triple blade designs can be used; for small pumps, a single (or dual) passage design is recommended.
It resembles a bend pipe of the same cross-sectional size and boasts excellent flow characteristics. It avoids potential blockages and entanglements that may occur at low flow speeds. This specially designed impeller
Channels,配合合理 helical chambers, allow paper, textiles, garbage bags, and other materials to pass freely in wastewater. The impeller is subjected to dynamic and static balancing, ensuring the pump operates smoothly during no-load testing and with load.
No vibration is generated during the loading process.
Chapter 10: Installation and Operation of Submersible Sewage Pumps
Our submersible sewage pumps are designed with a coaxial motor-pump assembly, featuring a compact structure, high efficiency, easy installation and maintenance, economic operation, and strong adaptability. The installation methods include mobile installation and fixed installation.
Set installation, fixed installation which is further divided into automatic coupling installation and fixed dry installation, and mobile installation also known as free installation.
Automatic Coupling Installation
The automatic coupling installation device allows for quick and easy insertion of the electric pump into the wastewater medium along the sliding guide rail, with the pump and base automatically coupling and sealing. Installation and maintenance are extremely convenient.
In this type of installation, the pump is connected to the coupling device, with the coupling base fixed at the bottom of the pump pit (when constructing a wastewater pit, it is secured to pre-bolted anchor bolts, and the coupling base is fixed during operation).
The pump can automatically move up and down within the guide rail. When the pump is lowered, the coupling device automatically couples with the coupling base, and when lifting the pump, it automatically disconnects from the coupling base.
This option can be equipped with hydraulic switches, a middle terminal box, and an automatic protection control cabinet according to user requirements. When selecting, consider the pump model, installation method, pool depth, and pump control.
Manufacture with protective features to ensure superior systems. Should the user require special materials, our factory can supply pumps made from specialized materials.
Submersible sewage pump installation method
Permanent Dry Mount
The pump assembly is situated on the opposite side of the sump, mounted together with the inlet pipe on the base. Due to the adoption of a water jacket cooling system, it ensures the pump operates under full-load conditions. Advantages: water flow against...
Continuous impact from puddles does not damage the pump and can withstand unexpected flooding. Suitable for municipal construction, discharge of wastewater from underground pump stations of flyovers.
Portable installation method
Electrical pumps are supported by brackets and can be connected to the discharge hose directly. Suitable for river management, industrial wastewater discharge, and sludge removal in municipal construction.

Submersible sewage pump
Submersible sewage pumps are a type of pump product used in the environmental protection industry for transporting solid-liquid mixtures containing particles, fibers, and other materials, such as domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater, sludge, etc. The WQ type submersible sewage pump consists of a sewage pump, a sealing system, a submersible motor, and control equipment.
Wastewater Pump
Wastewater Pump
The system consists of several parts, including the protection system and automatic installation system. Unlike conventional sewage pumps, the WQ type submersible sewage pump has the pump and motor rotating on the same shaft and simultaneously submerged underwater. The pump's sealing system effectively prevents liquid from entering the motor chamber, ensuring the safe operation of the motor. The control and protection system enable the pump to promptly alarm and shut down for maintenance in case of faults such as water leakage, oil leakage, overload, overheating, or voltage shortage.
Model Analysis
Wastewater pumps are widely used across various industries, featuring the ability to transport liquids containing hard solids and fibers, as well as particularly dirty, sticky, and slippery substances. They are extensively employed in mining, papermaking, dyeing, environmental protection, oil refining, petrochemicals, farming, dyeing and chemical industries, winemaking, food processing, coking plants, construction, marble factories, sludge, quicksand, mud ponds, wastewater ponds, and the transportation of thickened liquids, as well as for treating wastewater containing loading materials and suspended solids.
Wastewater pumps come in many models, used for various applications. Let's start by distinguishing between submersible and regular wastewater pumps. Submersible pumps have the motor and pump integrated, which are directly placed in the wastewater pond. In contrast, wastewater pumps are installed on the ground.
