The interface of elbi's diaphragm pressure vessels is directly welded to the tank body. Rusting at the welding joints can eventually lead to leakage and render the pressure vessel inoperable, as shown in the following image:
Due to the can wall thickness typically being around 1mm and the joints being directly welded to the can, this type of connection can withstand very little torque. During the installation of the can, it must be rotated by holding the shell, so excessive force or forcefulness can break the joints. This situation is common in the air conditioning production process.
The constant pressure water supply equipment features a pump power of 4PS and a flow rate of 120L/min. The pump automatically starts when the system pressure reaches 2.2bar, and shuts off when the pressure reaches 7bar. The pre-charged pressure of the air tank is 2bar. What size air tank should be selected for this system?
There is no 72L model in the pressure tank lineup, so we can simply select the closest model, the 80L VAV80.
Fifth, when using vertical diaphragm air pressure tanks, we should conduct regular inspections and maintenance every six months, and pay attention to related maintenance as well. The main points to note are: check if there are any leaks in the air charging valve, and ensure that the calibration period of the inflation pressure gauge is within the warranty period.
