The characteristics of felt wheels are not present in every size of the product. For instance, a felt wheel with excessive density for high strength loses elasticity, while a wheel with insufficient density loses its wear resistance. The length and fineness of the fibers also affect the characteristics, which can be customized according to actual applications. It is a material used for polishing and smoothing wood, jewelry, glass, precision instruments, stainless steel craftworks, and stainless steel plates.
Felt wheels, also known as wool wheels, are meticulously crafted through hot processing of wool. Primarily used for polishing glassware, equipment, precision instruments, wooden items, jewelry, stainless steel crafts, and stainless steel plates.

Warning when using felt wheel:
1. Select a seal gasket of the appropriate size and thickness based on the sealing area to ensure the tightness of the seal installation. Over-tightening can cause the felt to lose elasticity, overheat, and deteriorate prematurely; under-tightening can lead to oil leakage. Therefore, an appropriate preload is essential during felt installation. Generally, the natural thickness of the felt strip should be 1/4 to 1/3 larger than the fixed size within the seal assembly, depending on the type of felt.
2. Felt must be soaked in machine oil before installation. For felt installed in rotating parts, if not oiled, it will cause high temperatures due to dry friction between the felt and the rotating shaft as the machine starts to turn, leading to early failure of the contact surface elasticity, loss of sealing properties in the felt, oil leakage at the sealing points, and in severe cases, failure to operate normally.
3. Enhance maintenance. Regularly inspect the sealing condition of the felt seals. In case of oil leakage or damage to the felt, it should be replaced promptly. Also, replace the removed felt if it has lost its elasticity.

How to Choose Felt Wheels:
Choose a medium-firm felt wheel with the correct density for the item being polished. Select the quality of the felt wheel based on the item being polished. For polishing, opt for products with fine wool texture and no impurities. Some felt wheels on the market are made by pressing flat felt, but the density of flat felt does not meet the polishing density requirements, and the length and fineness of the wool do not meet the standards, which can easily damage the quality of the item's surface.

The Uses of Felt Wheel:
1. Felt wheel applications are common in sports equipment, percussion instruments, and even some equipment, serving as a protective measure to prevent damage during use.
2.毡轮 are used in the production of home appliances such as tape recorders, computers, cameras, fax machines, and air conditioners. This is because they offer excellent soundproofing, insulation, and heat-insulating properties, and can also extend the lifespan of the appliances, fully realizing their functions and enhancing safety during use. As a result, felt wheels are widely employed in the manufacturing of home appliance products.
3. Car owners often pay close attention to their vehicle's maintenance. Felts wheels can help insulate and dampen engine noise, as well as isolate excess heat. They also clean car parts and are convenient to use.
4. Blackboard erasers, commonly seen in daily life, also use felt wheels to prevent friction. Moreover, felt wheels are widely used in the manufacturing of mechanical products such as wires.
