Screw jack guards, also known as screw jack covers, are a type of protective cover that effectively shields screws, light bars, shafts, pillars, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.

Process Classification

The types are divided into steel ring supported and stitched styles.

Available in various shapes such as cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, elliptical, staircase, crescent, and semicircular, among others.

The connections can be further categorized as follows: (1) Both Ends with a Collar (Band Clamp) (2) Both Ends with a Flange (Screw-Type) (3) One End with a Flange and the Other with a Collar. Flanges can be either PVC or metallic.

Steel ring support

　　Offered in various fabrics, supported by steel wire rings and constructed with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, featuring a fixed outer diameter. Capable of operating normally between 110℃ (high temperature) and -40℃ (low temperature). Provides effective protection against dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. Characterized by its neat appearance and resistance to deformation. Its robustness and tightness make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in numerous machinery. The required diameter and length can be determined according to the specific needs of the customer.

Sewn style

Available in various materials depending on the working environment, these products are first formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two adjacent inner edges and two outer edges are stitched together, providing excellent shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction. Installation options include whole, zipper, Velcro, and snap styles, offering greater convenience for users.

Job Characteristics

The device can perform extension or compression movements with the parts, suitable for both vertical and horizontal usage. When in a horizontal position, plastic or aluminum support rings are used to maintain a uniform distance between the inner cavity of the guard and the screw, thus extending the service life. Metal rings are added at each bend for increased stability when the stretching length is significant. The connection or fixing end can be done using a metal flange, or opt for a clamping band style.
