The inner surface of the epoxy resin coated spiral steel pipes is extremely smooth, with minimal friction resistance. They are suitable for natural gas pipelines or drinking water pipelines. Moreover, the outer surface of the pipes can be painted with vibrant colors, enhancing their aesthetic appeal. Compared to traditional, brittle and prone-to-rust materials, plastic-coated steel pipes have a service life of up to 50 years or more, with a low total cost.

Compared to copper and galvanized pipes, it offers greater cost-effectiveness. Therefore, it's now not just for residential water supply pipes. Additionally, it's also used for urban municipal pipelines. For instance, plastic-coated steel pipes, as gas and oil pipelines, possess the hardness of traditional steel pipes, yet they are lighter, have less resistance, and allow for faster flow rates within the pipeline.
