Elbows are commonly used pipe fittings in plumbing installations, designed for connecting at pipe bends and altering the direction of the pipeline.
Other Names: 90° Elbow, Right-Angle Bend, Love Bend, Stamped Elbow, Forged Elbow, Machined Elbow, Welded Elbow, etc.
Application: Connect two pipes with the same or different nominal diameters, allowing the pipeline to make 90°, 45°, 180°, and various degree turns.
A bend is categorized as a reducer when its radius is 1.5 times or less than the pipe diameter, and as an elbow when its radius exceeds 1.5 times the pipe diameter.
