Lead screw cover is a type of protective cover, also known as lead screw sheath, which effectively shields components like lead screws, light bars, shafts, and pillars from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
The products are categorized by manufacturing process into hoop-supported and stitched types. By shape, they include cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, oval, stair, crescent, semicircular, and various other shapes. Connection methods include: (1) Both ends with collars (clamp style), (2) Both ends with flanges (screw style), and (3) One end with a flange and one end with a collar. Flanges are further divided into PVC flanges and metal flanges.
Steel ring support
Offered in various fabrics, supported by steel rings, and made from high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves with fixed outer diameter. Operates normally between 110°C and -40°C. Provides effective protection against dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. Features a neat appearance and resistance to deformation. Its rigidity and tightness make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in various machinery. The required diameter and length can be customized according to customer specifications.
Sewn
A variety of materials are available depending on the working environment. They are initially formed into discs, then stamped and stitched together. The adjacent inner and outer edges are sewn together, which achieves good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through stitching. According to the installation method, they can be further divided into integral, zipper, hook and loop, and snap-button types, providing greater convenience for installation.
It can perform telescopic movements with components, suitable for both vertical and horizontal usage. When in a horizontal position, plastic or aluminum support rings are used to maintain a uniform distance between the internal cavity of the guard and the screw, thereby extending the service life. When the telescoping length is significant, a metal ring is added to each fold to enhance the stability of the guard. The connecting or fixing end uses a metal flange plate, or a clamping-type option is available.
