Screw shaft protector, also known as screw shaft sleeve, is a type of protective cover that effectively safeguards components like screw shafts, light shafts, shafts, columns, etc., from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
The products are categorized by manufacturing process into steel ring-supported and stitched types. Shape-wise, they include cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, oval, staircase, crescent, semicircular, and various other shapes. Connection methods include: (1) Both Ends with Collar (Banded), (2) Both Ends with Flange (Screwed), and (3) One End with Flange, One End with Collar. Flanges are further divided into PVC flanges and metal flanges.
Steel Ring Supported
Crafted from various fabrics, supported by steel rings, and made using high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, with a fixed outer diameter. Operates normally between 110℃ high temperature and -40℃ low temperature. Effectively resists dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. Characterized by its neat appearance and resistance to deformation. Its tightness and rigidity make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in many machines. Diameter and length can be customized according to the specific requirements of the customer.
Sewn style
Various materials are available depending on the working environment. The products are first formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two adjacent inner edges and two outer edges are stitched together, achieving good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through the sewing process. According to the installation method, they can be further divided into integral, zipper, hook-and-loop, and snap styles, providing greater convenience for the user's installation.
The component can perform extension or compression movements, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. In the horizontal position, plastic or aluminum support rings are used to maintain a uniform distance between the inner cavity of the guard and the screw, extending its service life. When the stretching length is great, a metal ring is added to each fold to enhance the stability of the guard. Metal flanges or sleeve-type connections can be used for the connecting or fixed ends.
