Screw jack protector, also known as a screw jack cover, is a type of protective cover that effectively shields screws, light bars, shafts, columns, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
The products are categorized by manufacturing process into steel ring-supported and stitched types. By shape, they include cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, oval, stair, crescent, semi-circular, and various other shapes. Connection methods include: (1) Both ends with a collar (clamp style), (2) Both ends with a flange (screw style), and (3) One end with a flange and one end with a collar. Flanges are further divided into PVC flanges and metal flanges.
Steel Ring Supported
Utilizing various fabrics, supported by steel rings and made with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, the outer diameter is fixed. It operates normally between 110℃ (high temperature) and -40℃ (low temperature). It effectively prevents dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. It features a neat appearance and is resistant to deformation. Its tightness and rigidity make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in many machines. The required diameter and length can be determined based on the specific user requirements.
Sewn
A variety of materials are available based on different working environments. They are first formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two adjacent inner edges and two outer edges are stitched together, which achieves good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through the sewing process. Installation methods include whole-piece, zipper, hook-and-loop, and snap-button styles, offering greater convenience for users.
The component can be extended or compressed, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. When in a horizontal position, plastic or aluminum support rings are used to maintain a uniform distance between the housing and the screw, extending the service life. For greater stretch lengths, a metal ring is added to each fold to enhance the stability of the guard. Metal flanges are used for connections or fixed ends, or a sleeve-type option can be chosen.
