Cable Chain, also known as cable or wire protection chain, is a device that secures cables, wires, or hydraulic pipes to facilitate their rotation and movement.
Cables are categorized into steel and plastic types. Steel cables are made of steel and aluminum and can be customized, while plastic cables are also known as engineering plastic cables. Cables are classified into three types based on usage environment and requirements: bridge-type, fully enclosed, and semi-enclosed. Rectangular metal hoses, protective sleeves, bellows, and flexible metal hoses can also be included in cable protection and mobile power supply products. Cables are used in reciprocating motion applications, providing traction and protection for cables, oil tubes, gas tubes, water pipes, and more. The chain consists of numerous individual links, which rotate freely between each other.
The drag chains within the same series have identical inner and outer heights and pitch. The inner width and bending radius R of the drag chains can be selected from various options.
The unit link is composed of left and right chain plates and top and bottom covers. Each section of the drag chain can be opened, making installation and removal convenient without the need for wiring. After the cover is opened, cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, water pipes, and other items can be placed into the drag chain.
Each section of the chain guide can be designed to be openable, facilitating installation and maintenance. It operates with low noise, is wear-resistant, and can move at high speeds.
Additional separator plates are available to partition the space within the chain as required.
