Black Liquor FilterThis is an advanced new equipment for filtering black liquor in the international pulp and paper industry, developed based on the absorption of recent new technologies. It features new structures such as high-speed rotors and microporous filter drums. Operating under pressure, it boasts superior filtration capacity, higher purity of filtrate, and higher technical equipment level compared to the traditional circular screen black liquor filtration machines currently used in China. It is suitable for filtering cooking black liquor in pulp and paper mills and can also serve as an environmental protection equipment for filtering other waste liquids and wastewater.
The black liquor filter, during the papermaking process, extracts concentrated black liquor from the black liquor extraction machine and dilute black liquor from the washing separator, which both contain a certain amount of small fibers and various residues. If this black liquor is directly sent for evaporation, it can easily cause pipe scaling, affecting evaporation efficiency and leading to fiber loss. Therefore, the black liquor must be treated before being sent for evaporation to separate the fibers.
High-concentration or low-concentration (high-temperature) black liquor extracted by the black liquor extraction press enters the outer side of the XHGL filter machine's round mesh cage. Under the vacuum force within the round mesh cage, the black liquor passes through the mesh for purification, while the fibers are retained on the mesh. As the cage rotates, the fibers (pulp) are continuously compressed by the press rolls, resulting in their dewatering. This fiber filter machine features a sealed structure, which not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also prevents the loss of black liquor temperature, facilitating the subsequent evaporation and concentration stages.
