Glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) precast pumping stations have gained wide application in our country. These GRP pumping stations offer advantages such as corrosion resistance, light weight, high strength, and long service life.

With China's rapid economic growth, the demand for water resources has also increased significantly. Traditional concrete pump stations, however, suffer from poor corrosion resistance and are prone to damage due to their structural limitations. Moreover, the medium for concrete transportation is mostly water, which can easily become contaminated or damaged during transportation and construction. Additionally, the installation of concrete transportation pipelines requires a substantial amount of land and space. Therefore, in recent years, the government has strongly promoted the use of new glass fiber reinforced plastic pipelines to replace traditional concrete pipelines in the construction of urban water supply systems.
