Steel Structure Manufacturing and Construction Techniques

Scope of Application: Applicable to the processing and manufacturing processes of building steel structures, including the selection of production processes, layout, marking, cutting, straightening, shaping, edge processing, pipe and sphere processing, drilling, friction surface processing, end processing, assembly of components, round tube component processing, and pre-assembly of steel components.


Regulations for Steel Structure Construction:

The spacing between the flange splice joints and web splice joints of the steel sections should be greater than 200mm. The length of the flange splice should not be less than twice the width of the plate; the width of the web splice should not be less than 300mm, and the length should not be less than 600mm.


Ensure welding quality by assembling and welding reinforcement plates, connecting plates, shims, and cantilever beams (girders) on the ground steel platform according to the construction drawing dimensions.


3. Reinforce locally or along the full length of the components with steel, integrating them into a single unit to share the load; add auxiliary supports, adjust the load distribution, reduce the internal force level, and impose forced displacement on the superstatic structural supports to decrease stress peaks.
