The Leak-Proof Gas Drainage Valve primarily consists of the drainage body and a leak-proof device. It is mainly used for the removal of condensate from overhead gas pipelines. In cases where the effective water level of the drainage valve decreases due to pressure fluctuations in the gas pipeline network or other reasons, causing gas leakage, the leak-proof device of the gas drainage valve can effectively prevent the external leakage of gas, thus preventing catastrophic incidents such as fires, explosions, and poisoning. The leak-proof gas drainage valve is a sealed drainage valve that opens when water is present in the gas pipeline and closes when there is no water, eliminating the need for auxiliary water. It can quickly, securely, and accurately cut off the gas that is about to leak, even in overpressure protection situations without water accumulation, and it can automatically identify and cut off overpressure gas without any power source. The drainage is smooth, preventing debris blockages, and the cleaning cycle can be extended twice as long (usually 1-2 years). Particularly, with a specially designed drainage valve and its leak-proof device, it not only seals off various overpressure gases but also prevents water evaporation; it increases the water seal height. The leak-proof gas drainage valve can operate normally under harsh conditions (outdoor temperatures as low as -40℃), unaffected by gas pressure fluctuations and debris. The leak-proof device has a simple structure, a compact size, and provides a cleaning access hole. After long-term field trials by multiple users, it has been proven to be more secure and effective, and these features are not possessed by any drainage valve domestically or internationally!
II. Installation and Usage Precautions:
This drain cleaner is suitable for various gas pipelines.
2. The drainage valve does not have a fixed water supply pipe. It adopts the method of supplying water through a ball valve in the inlet pipe. During the first-time startup water filling, the pipe cap on the top cover needs to be opened, and the anti-leakage device's vent valve must be released.
3. The drain valve must be installed on a level ground foundation. The gas drain valve base can be securely fastened to the equipment foundation through welding. The equipment foundation must be sturdy to prevent collapse or tilting. It must be installed vertically without any tilt to ensure the reliability of the drain valve's operation. The on-site gas pipeline is connected to the gas drain valve's inlet pipe. A sealing gasket must be used at the flange connection to ensure a tight seal and prevent gas leakage. The condensate drain pipe of the drain valve should be connected to the nearby sewage system; it should not be discharged directly beneath the equipment foundation.
The drainage valve must be surrounded by guardrails and warning signs to prevent collisions and accidental leaks. Before use, it is mandatory to fill the gas drainage valve with water! When refilling, first close the water inlet valve, then open the gas detection valve to exhaust the gas from the cylinder, and finally use the water filling port on the drainage valve to add water. The drainage valve is filled with water when the condensate drainage pipe at the bottom starts to leak water. After refilling, the gas drainage valve must be closed to prevent gas leaks!
Users can carry out drainage and cleaning of the drainage valve based on the dust content of the gas and the on-site operation of the equipment. When draining, it is mandatory to first completely shut off the gas valve, cut off the power, and extinguish all open flames, and perform the operation in a well-ventilated area. After draining, it is essential to refill the drainage valve with water! The procedure for refilling water is as described above.
