The quality assurance system encompasses two aspects. First, it involves understanding the scope, responsibilities, and relationships of various departments within the company. Second, it entails grasping the internal management model of heat treatment.

The quality of forged products is designed, but whether the manufacturing process can be completed and how it is carried out is a matter of product process evaluation, which is a collaborative effort between heat treatment personnel and cold working designers. During the process evaluation, heat treatment staff can understand the usage conditions of the parts, confirm if the heat treatment technical conditions are reasonable, if the design structure is suitable for heat treatment, and if the machining allowance before heat treatment is reasonable. The selection of forging materials should be appropriate, as well as the suitability of heat treatment technical conditions and processes. When using imported materials, the original foreign brand should be used, and codes equivalent to domestic brands must not be used.

Does the original chemical composition, metallurgical quality, and supply of the forging materials meet the requirements?

The pre-treatment process and frequency of forging materials are sufficient to provide tissue preparation for the heat treatment process of forgings, avoiding repeated heat treatment procedures. It also considers the supply status of the raw materials, aiming to simplify the heat treatment process as much as possible. However, the necessary heat treatment processes cannot be overlooked.

The rationality of the forging process route, understanding the role of heat treatment, confirming the suitability of the heat treatment location, the rationality of the semi-finished product structure during heat treatment, and the presence of sharp corners, burrs, blind holes, thin walls, etc., should aim to minimize excessive thickness variations and forging structures (such as symmetry) that could complicate heat treatment. For welding hollow sealed parts, a cooling and exhaust process hole should be opened in the closed body to prevent heating explosion or cooling deformation.

Should Sichuan substitute materials be used: When substitute materials are needed, the principle of selection should be to replace lower-level materials with higher-level materials, rather than just using lower-level materials to replace higher-level ones.

Does the forging and welding processes, closely related to heat treatment, provide the qualified structure for heat treatment? The forging and welding processes not only provide shape conditions but also control the state of the material's structure during the process.

Forging Heat Treatment Technical Requirements: The evaluation of technical requirements includes the compilation of specifications, clarity of drawings, completeness of technical requirements, rationality, and regularity, as well as inspection of components that meet standards and technical requirements.

Ensure that the heat treatment process for forgings aligns with the aforementioned process planning principles. Confirm the production capacity for forging heat treatment, as well as the suitability of equipment and tooling.
