II. CMMI Certification Application Requirements

IV. CMMI Certification Validity and Post-Maintenance

CMMI certification is valid for three years. After the three-year period expires, the company's name is automatically removed from the official global listing of certified enterprises. If the company wishes to maintain the certification, it must undergo reassessment and certification before the expiration date.

CMMI assessments do not involve annual reviews, re-assessments, or certificate renewals. There is only the concept of assessment, meaning that a complete re-assessment is required after three years.
