Franka Emika GmbH was founded in 2016, with its headquarters in Munich, Germany. Inspired by human agility and touch, the company developed an APP-based force control robot. Compared to the widespread use of vision in robots, collaborative robots with force control are often expensive and require advanced technical knowledge to operate. Franka Emika began to disrupt the industry by manufacturing user-friendly and affordable force control robots. Two years after its launch, the Franka Emika collaborative robot was one of the 50 innovative products featured on the cover of Germany's 'Time' magazine and won the German Future Award and Innovation Award. Starting in 2020, TQ Systems Shanghai has become the authorized general agent for Franka Emika GmbH in the Asia-Pacific region and for China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). Additionally, Franka Robot Showroom and Training Center is located in Jiading, Shanghai.
