Pre-stressed metal corrugated pipe construction technology

(1) Installation Tolerance Requirements: Metal bellows should be installed according to the design specifications at the required positions. The installation tolerance for the protective design thickness of the metal bellows above and below should be within 5mm. The installation tolerance for the design horizontal clear distance should be within the standard pipe, and should be controlled to 5mm or less. The displacement error in the length direction of the metal bellows should be controlled to within 15mm, but should not be continuously misaligned in one direction.

(2) Pre-installed Pipes: Prior to the installation of metal bellows, various pipelines to be embedded should be considered according to design requirements. A direct integration of the pipelines should be conducted before wiring, with approximately 100mm of solid tape reserved at the appropriate location on the vertical metal bellows barrier. At the same time, consider that the specifications and quantities of non-standard length metal bellows should not be excessive to avoid complexity in installation and fabrication. 1) Avoid collisions or impacts from foreign objects during horizontal, vertical transportation, and installation of metal bellows. 2) Organize the site properly to prevent the metal bellows from slipping or breaking during handling by workers, and when vertically hoisting, make a rigid hoist basket according to the specifications of the metal bellows, and do not use ropes to tie and hoist directly.
