Treated wood is ordinary wood that has been processed for防腐 (preservation) and now boasts properties such as corrosion resistance, insect and termite prevention, fungus and mold resistance, extending the service life of the wood. Treated wood also has good penetration and strong resistance to loss, and can suppress changes in moisture content in the wood, reducing the extent of cracking.
