1. Preliminary Foundation Acceptance: The preliminary acceptance of the integrated wastewater treatment equipment foundation should be conducted with the joint efforts of both parties, the engineering supervisor, and the foundation construction party, following the design foundation plan and the construction records provided by the civil engineering department. Key checks include the elevation, centerline coordinates, flatness, and appearance design of the foundation, as well as the geometric dimensions of the foundation holes. Verify that the deviations comply with the specifications and maintain corresponding records. Upon passing the preliminary acceptance, the civil engineering department should handle the handover procedures to the installation department and the representative of Party A, and provide 1 detailed set of foundation completion documents.
2. Preliminary Inspection upon Unboxing and Installation: During the unboxing and installation of the wastewater equipment, a collaborative effort should be made among both parties, the supplier of the wastewater equipment, and the project supervisor. The names, specifications, total quantity, and completeness of the wastewater equipment should be inspected, as well as its appearance. Check for any damage, oil leakage, rust, cracks, and whether the outer packaging is damaged, and ensure that the specifications and models meet the order requirements. Inspect and verify the parts, looking for any damage, missing components, and whether the accompanying documents, certificates, and product manuals are complete. Make records after verification and have relevant department personnel sign off. Spare parts should be handed over to Party A for storage after unboxing. The parts to be installed on-site should be properly stored to prevent loss. The unboxing verification is typically conducted at the installation site. For wastewater equipment that cannot be immediately installed after unboxing, the boxes should be resealed. For outdoor boxes, additional rain covers should be installed.
3. Foundation, Leveling, and Shims: The installation of shims for the integrated wastewater treatment equipment must conform to the drawings and specifications, or if not specified, the construction technicians will consult with the client and the project supervisor to determine based on the weight of the wastewater equipment, the position of the reinforcing steel plates, and the location of the anchor bolts. The shims should have a flat and tight contact with the foundation, and any uneven areas should be chiseled and smoothed. The shims should also be smoothed and leveled against each other without any gaps. The angle of the slanted shims should be consistent and typically less than 13 degrees, with the total height of the shims around 30mm. After the wastewater equipment is installed, the shims should be spot-welded, and gaps can be checked using a 0.05mm feeler gauge. The area outside the shims should be leveled with sand to enhance the strength of the grouting layer. The placement of shims can also be carried out according to specifications using the grouting method.
4. Installation Arrangement: Installations can be transported to the construction site using forklifts, vehicles, or cranes. During the lifting process, cranes, borer masts, independent hinged towers, and chain hoists can be used for installation. For installations with higher difficulty or more precise wastewater equipment, a lifting plan must be prepared and approved by relevant technical leaders before implementation. After the equipment is lifted into place, align the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the wastewater equipment with the centerlines of the foundation layout, ensuring that the deviation between the centerlines complies with the specifications.
