Photocatalytic method
Photocatalytic purification is a process that cleans pollutants by utilizing the oxidation-reduction ability of photocatalysts under ultraviolet light. The use of photocatalytic purification technology to remove organic pollutants from the air has the following characteristics:
(1) Utilizes oxygen from the air as an oxidizing agent with mild reaction conditions (at room temperature and pressure) (2) Decomposes organic pollutants into inorganic small molecules such as carbon dioxide and water, providing excellent purification effects.
Photocatalytic purification technology boasts advantages such as deep oxygenation at room temperature, minimal secondary pollution, low operation costs, and the potential to utilize sunlight as a reaction light source. Therefore, photocatalysis is particularly suitable for the purification of indoor volatile organic compounds, showcasing significant application potential in deep purification.
In consideration of achieving compliant emissions for waste gas treatment, ease of operation, and space-saving, a photocatalytic oxidation treatment method is employed for the processing equipment.
