Surface oil stains, scratches, sticking boards, sticking rollers, and exploding rollers

Cause of Incidence

Insufficient lubrication

4. The emulsion liquid has an excessively high temperature, causing local overheating.

Exclusion Method

1. Check the emulsion concentration, saponification value, pH level, iron content, ash content, and temperature.

2. Inspect or replace rolling mills; remove foreign objects.

Insufficient Cooling

Exclusion Method

(1) Check the emulsion temperature and cooling effect

(2) The roller design features a moderate reduction in the pull-out of the string roller.

Increase rolling force

2. Rib Wave

Cause of Occurrence

(1) Uneven cooling, localized overheating

(2) Poor roller design, inadequate roller alignment

(3) Insufficient rolling force, low tension

Exclusion Methods

(1) Inspect emulsion nozzle and pressure

(2) The roller design is appropriately reduced to minimize the pull-out of the string roller.

Increase rolling force, increase tension

3. Edge Wave

Reason for Occurrence

(1) Poor roller design, poor roller alignment

(2) Excessive rolling force, slow speed

Overcooling

Exclusion Method

(1) Increased roller design with appropriate widening of the roller string push

(2) Reduced rolling force, increased speed

(3) Check the emulsion temperature

4. Rib wave + edge wave

Cause of Occurrence

(1) Coiled material misalignment

(2) Local heat generation in roller mill

(3) Excessive pressure deviation

Exclusion Method

(1) Correcting Strip Center

(2) Inspect the emulsion cooling efficiency

(3) Inspect roller surfaces or replace rollers

(4) Adjust Pressure Deviation
