详情描述
Overview:
Suited for industries such as mining, building materials, processing, and papermaking, utilizing the balanced coil principle and phase detection technology. It can be used in situations where traditional metal detectors, such as wire belt, high-grade iron ore, and metal belt joints, are ineffective. It boasts high detection accuracy and strong anti-interference capability, making it suitable for environments subject to vibration, temperature and humidity changes, and other disturbances.
Operating Principle:
The following diagram illustrates the simplified working principle of a metal detector with a conveyor application. Although the sensors of the metal detectors may differ from those shown in the diagram, their working principles are the same.

l The metal detector generates an electromagnetic field.
l When metallic impurities enter the electromagnetic field, the measurement signal will deflect in one direction.
l When metal impurities leave the electromagnetic field, the measurement signal will deflect in the opposite direction.
l An alarm signal is generated by the controller when both trigger limits for measuring the signal exceed the set values.
Metal detectors can output various signals according to user requirements. Generally, a set of passive normally open and normally closed contacts is provided.
Sensor installation

Open the upper and lower parts of the sensor, install the bottom of the sensor to the bottom of the belt, secure it firmly, and then reassemble the sensor completely (Figure 4).
Open one end of the sensor, thread the C-shaped sensor through the belt, and then secure the other end (Figure 5).(Note: After the sensor's bracket is folded down at the removable end, the removable end must not be subjected to lateral or downward forces to prevent deformation of the sensor, which may affect the probe's detection performance.)
