　　The laboratory should focus on supervisory models for personnel capabilities, identifying individuals capable of independently undertaking laboratory activities, as well as those requiring guidance and supervision. Individuals responsible for supervision should possess corresponding testing or calibration capabilities.

　　CMA Terms Requirement:

　　Testing and inspection institutions shall confirm the competence of personnel involved in sampling operations, testing and inspection, issuance of test reports or certificates, and provision of opinions and explanations, based on their relevant education, training, skills, and experience. Supervision of testing and inspection personnel, including trainees, should be conducted by individuals familiar with the objectives, procedures, methods, and evaluation of results of testing and inspection.

　　2.1 Supervisors should meet the following general requirements:

　　(a) Familiar with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

　　(b) Familiar with the inspection methods, procedures, objectives, and result evaluations (four key aspects, requires a thorough understanding);

　　(c) Master laboratory safety and knowledge.

　　2.2 Specific requirements must be met for certain fields:

　　For example, the qualifications for a food re-inspection supervisor:

　　(a) Must possess an intermediate or higher technical title related to food inspection or equivalent expertise, with over five years of similar inspection experience in the food method (items).

　　Be familiar with the requirements of the re-inspection operation manual, the purpose of re-inspection, the criteria for result evaluation, quality control, and requirements for measurement uncertainty; understand the procedure for uncertainty of measurement results.

　　(1) Supervision of laboratory staff capabilities, including initial and ongoing competencies.

　　Based on the positions of personnel and the abilities of the supervised individuals, including but not limited to:

　　a) Requirement, bid, and contract review capabilities;

　　b) Ability to develop, modify, verify, and confirm methods;

　　c) Ability to test using inspection methods; d) Ability to identify and monitor environmental facility conditions.

　　e) Ability to inspect, assess, and prepare reagents or consumables.

　　f) Specific experimental operation skills, when applicable.
