Handling of Deviations from CNAS-Accredited Consultancy Company Standards

Method Deviation

Conditions for deviations from the permitted method:

1) The lab must have documented procedures (which can be deviation procedures, operation manuals, or other documents).

2) Deviation from technical assessment; determine if the deviation will affect the accuracy and reliability of the data and results. If it does, deviation is not permitted.

3) Deviation from authorized or approved use, approved by the technical manager, and authorized to specific personnel under specific conditions.

4) Deviation requires customer approval.

Note: The client's acceptance of deviation can be agreed upon in the contract in advance.
