1. Cleaning and reinforcing the surface is a must, essential and cannot be skipped. It requires sanding to remove the protective layer and apply a new one. 2. Next, the steel plate must be thoroughly cleaned. There are various methods to do so. You can use sandblasting or a wire brush for abrasion, ensuring the direction of the abrasion aligns with the steel. Continue for a while until the entire steel plate exhibits a metallic luster. That's it.
3. Next, extract the required proportion of materials. Generally, the ratio of Material A to Material B is maintained at 3:1. After thorough mixing of the two materials, apply them to the steel plate surface. The thickness should be controlled to 3mm or less, ensuring a thicker center and thinner sides.
4. Once the steel plate is properly aligned at the pre-planned adhesive location, gently tap the surface of the adhesive connection with a hammer to check for hollow sounds. If there is no sound, it indicates a secure bond; if there is, it suggests the holes may be larger and the adhesive may not be properly sealed. In this case, remove the steel plate and reapply adhesive before reattaching it.
