Steam condensate iron and oil removal purification treatment
1Due to incomplete deoxygenation of boiler feed water, intermittent operation of equipment causing vacuum air intake, and the presence of carbonates in the water, the level of oxygen in the boiler...2With CO2Forming an electrolytic solution with water, it causes chemical and electrochemical corrosion between the metal tube walls and equipment accessories, leading to poor condensate water quality. Consequently, high-temperature condensate water containing iron cannot be directly used as boiler make-up water and must be discharged, resulting in waste of heat and softened water, and also having a corrosive and destructive effect on the municipal drainage network.
The condensate pH level is between 5.4 and 6.0, appearing dark brown with a high amount of rust impurities. The total iron mass concentration fluctuates between 0.1 to 3.0 mg/L, exceeding the standard requirement of less than 0.3 mg/L for low-pressure boilers.
2、Traditional manganese sand iron removal method involves cultivating a biofilm with Fe at temperatures below 35℃.2+Oxidation-reduction reaction, causing Fe2+Becomes Fe3+And generate Fe(OH)3After sedimentation, the backwash function of the filter is used to remove it. Therefore, when removing iron from condensate return water above 80°C, the biological filter film formed is destroyed, and the purpose of removing iron from high-temperature condensate water is not achieved.
3Our company's high-temperature condensate iron removal unit features a new GS iron removal filter material that withstands high temperatures and provides excellent filtration, adsorption, and flocculation precipitation. It does not require cultivating an active filter membrane and is not temperature-limited, eliminating the need for any cooling measures like air or water cooling. By means of the high-temperature condensate transfer unit, we can directly send condensate above 80°C into the iron removal filter tank upon initial operation. It effectively removes iron, turbidity, oil, colloidal impurities, and more from the condensate. It also allows for real-time water quality testing of the condensate and performs iron and oil purification treatment on contaminated condensate, ensuring the outlet water meets or exceeds the feedwater standards for low-pressure boilers (0.3mg/L).
GS High-Temperature Iron Removal Filter Media maintains stable condition, does not seep other impurities into the condensed water being filtered, and is also suitable for purifying oil-containing ship's fresh water tanks and ballast water. Automatic backwashing, easy to operate, generally used for 2~3-year filter media replacement.
