Jiangsu Suzhou Experimental High School was established in May 1994, designated as "Suzhou Affiliated High School of Nanjing University" in 1996, passed the inspection of a key high school in Jiangsu Province in 1997, received the model high school certification in 2000, and was upgraded to one of the first batch of four-star high schools in Jiangsu Province in 2004.
The school spans 93.46 acres and has a building area of 31,000 square meters. In 2000, we established a broadband campus network with "gigabit access to the school and 100-megabit access to each desk." Each teacher is equipped with a laptop, and all 36 classes are equipped with LCD projectors, making each classroom a modern multimedia classroom. Additionally, the school has 4 computer network classrooms, 3 language labs, 10 physics, chemistry, and biology labs, 14 instrument rooms, a campus TV station and radio station, a national environmental monitoring point, and the "Shen Kuo Astronomical Observatory" equipped with a 178mm aperture telescope from the domestic educational system. The campus network system, along with astronomical and environmental observation activities, has become a major highlight of our quality education.
