Selection of sealed fire-resistant busway
During installation, the resistance value should be measured after each section of the closed busbar is installed. When connecting copper busbars, it's important to apply conductive grease, tighten the bolts securely, and avoid any tiny gaps between the copper busbars in the closed busbar slot. However, if the bolts are over-tightened (the author's experience is over 34 N), it can crush the insulating porcelain blocks at the fire-resistant closed busbar connections, leading to reduced insulation. If the bolt connections are loose, with a torque less than 27 N, there will be gaps at the busbar connections, causing poor contact and increased busbar resistance. When the torque is between 29 to 33 N, the copper busbar punching machine manufacturer ensures there are no gaps and the insulating porcelain blocks between the busbars remain intact. After the entire fire-resistant closed busbar is installed, perform a through-bar摇测 to check the insulation resistance. Therefore, when designing fire protection and emergency power supply lines, fire-resistant closed busbars are used. Fire-resistant closed busbars require more space for installation, are not easy to bend, but have fewer accessories during installation. Additionally, they can prevent damage from small animals and are easy to protect during operation after installation. For example, a busbar with a current carrying capacity of 450-630A costs 1000 yuan/meter, with additional installation costs, totaling approximately 1100 yuan/meter. When installing fire-resistant closed busbars, it is important to use a megger to test the insulation resistance of the busbar and keep a record of the test and storage. The insulation resistance should be greater than or equal to 20M. This is because the fire-resistant closed busbar is 2.5 meters long per section.
Closed Busway: The closed busway consists of current-carrying conductors, a housing, and insulating materials. The bus housing should be made of cold-rolled steel plate, with sufficient mechanical strength and a protection rating of IP55. The current-carrying conductors should be made of copper materials for electrical purposes that comply with GB 5585.1-5585.3 standards. The contact surfaces of the conductor joints have been specially treated to ensure reliable contact, low heat generation, and safe operation. The insulating materials should have good insulation properties, resistance to aging, non-toxicity, and low smoke generation.
