Project Introduction

The abrasive wear tester employs a specialized paper tape as the friction medium, applying a fixed load to the friction head. The friction head, through a fixed diameter roller and a constant-speed motor, drives the rotating paper tape to continuously apply force to the specimen surface until the base material is exposed or a specific degree of wear is achieved. The wear resistance of the specimen is evaluated by the number of rotations of the motor displayed on the counter.

Application Scope

The Tape Abrasion Tester is suitable for wear resistance testing of various surface coated samples (electroplating, baking paint, screen printing, etc.). It involves rubbing untreated paper or tape against the sample under a certain number of rotations to determine the wear effect.
