Product Description
Salt spray testing is conducted to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products after surface treatments such as electroplating, anodizing, painting, and rust preventive oil coatings on various materials. Salt spray testing is an environmental test that primarily utilizes a salt spray testing device to create an artificial salt spray environment for assessing the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. It is divided into two main categories: natural environment exposure testing and artificial accelerated salt spray environment simulation testing. The artificial salt spray environment simulation test employs a test device with a specific volume, the salt spray test chamber, where an artificial salt spray environment is created within to assess the quality of the product's resistance to salt spray corrosion. Compared to natural environments, the salt concentration of the chloride in the salt spray environment can be several or even dozens of times higher, significantly increasing the corrosion rate and greatly shortening the time to obtain results from the salt spray test. For example, in a natural exposure environment, it may take up to one year for a product sample to corrode, whereas under artificial salt spray environment conditions, similar results can be obtained in just 24 hours.
Product Features
1: Entirely made of PVC boards, internally reinforced with belt-type three-dimensional reinforcement technology, offering strong structure and no deformation. It is resistant to acids and alkalis, high temperatures, and does not age, suitable for various testing specifications such as salt spray and copper acetate.
2: Control instruments are all on the same panel, making operation simple and intuitive.
3: Equipped with an automatic/manual water-filling system, featuring the function to automatically replenish water when the water level is low, ensuring uninterrupted testing. Low water level warning ensures safe operation.
4: Precision glass nozzles (PYREX) are made from special glass, ensuring even and natural mist dispersion onto the test plate. They are designed for continuous use for 4,000 hours without crystalline salt blockage.
5: Features dual over-temperature protection, with an alarm and power cut-off to the heater upon overheating, ensuring safe operation.
6: Imported temperature controller with digital display, PID control, ±1℃ error.
The laboratory utilizes direct steam heating, which offers rapid and even temperature rise, reducing standby time. The heating tubes are made of high-corrosion-resistant titanium.
8: Spray Tower with conical disperser, featuring guided mist, adjustable mist volume, and even distribution of mist.
9: The saturated air cylinder is heated and humidified according to Henry's Law, providing the required humidity for the laboratory, with excellent insulation performance.
10: Equipped with an automatic defogging device, allowing for clear observation of test samples within the laboratory.
11: Mist Sealed Water Trays, utilizing water sealing method to prevent mist from escaping.
12: The laboratory sealing cap is made of imported A-grade acrylic impact-resistant plate from Europe, offering easy operation, safety, and reliability.
13: The imported timer features a digital display, ensuring accurate timing and adjustable time range from 0.01 seconds to 9999 hours.
14: The laboratory basket frame uses a flat dividing frame, which can be adjusted to any angle. The four sides have consistent misting and direction of reception, allowing for a large number of test sheets to be placed.
15: Spray methods available include continuous spray or programmable spray
16. Salt Spray Test Compliant with International Standards: RELATEU STANDARDS CNS 3627, 3885, 4159, 7669, 8866; JIS D-0201, H-8502, H-8610, K-5400, Z-2371, ISO 3768, 3769, 3770; ASTM B-117, ASTM B-268, GB-T2423, GJB150.
