Choose the appropriate installation location
Based on the actual usage scenario and circuit layout, select an appropriate installation location. Ensure the installation site is convenient for operation and maintenance, and not susceptible to impacts, compressions, or adverse conditions such as moisture.
Considering the T-type three-way waterproof plug may need to connect multiple lines, sufficient space should be reserved for cable arrangement and connection.
II. Installation Process Precautions
Proper Cable Connection
Select the appropriate cable for connection based on the plug type and specifications. Ensure the conductor cross-sectional area of the cable matches the plug's rated current to prevent safety accidents caused by overloading.
When connecting cables, first strip the insulation of the cable to an appropriate length, exposing the conductor. Then insert the conductor into the plug's socket, ensuring good contact between the conductor and the socket.
For multi-core cables, connections should be made according to the correct color coding or identification to prevent incorrect wiring.
Ensure proper sealing procedures

Once the plug is securely connected to the cable, tighten the locking nut to ensure the sealing ring fits tightly between the plug and the cable, creating a good seal.

Fixed plug
To prevent the T-shaped tee connector from becoming loose or falling off during use, it must be securely fastened. Ties, clamps, or mounting brackets, among other tools, can be used to affix the connector to an appropriate position.
When securing the fixed plug, be cautious not to apply excessive force to avoid damaging the plug or cable. Additionally, ensure that the securing device does not interfere with the plug's waterproof performance.
Post-installation inspection

Upon completion of installation, carefully inspect the appearance of the T-fitting waterproof plug, ensuring the housing is undamaged, free from deformation, or cracks. Also, check that the sealing ring and locknut are securely fastened, with no signs of looseness or leakage.
Electrical Performance Testing
Utilizing multimeters and other testing tools, we conduct electrical performance tests on the installed T-type waterproof connectors. We inspect the connectors for their conductivity, insulation resistance, and voltage withstand capabilities to ensure they meet the required standards.
If electrical performance anomalies are detected, stop using the product immediately, investigate the cause, and proceed with repairs or replacements.
Waterproof Performance Testing
For T-type waterproof plug connectors used in damp or underwater environments, waterproof performance tests are required. The plug can be submerged in water for a certain period of time to observe for any leakage.
If waterproof performance is found to be inadequate, inspect whether the sealing structure is properly installed and if the sealing rings are damaged, and adjust or replace them promptly.
