The factory preset mode is the "R" radius mode, with values displayed normally; in the "D" diameter mode, the displayed values are twice the normal radius mode values. If the normal count in the radius mode is 200MM, then in diameter mode it is 400MM.

Specific operational steps are as follows:

1. After entering the internal parameter settings of the grating digital indicator, press the up and down arrow keys on the digital grating ruler, find the "X R/D Mode Selection" option in the sub-window, and then press the "ENTER" key on the keyboard.

2. Below the "X R/D Mode Selection" option, "Mode: R" is displayed. Press the up arrow key (the up arrow keyboard does not respond; it only responds when the mode is "Mode: D"), then "Mode: D" appears. Press "ENTER" to select Mode D and save the setting.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2, sequentially set the "Y Axis R/D Mode Selection" and "Z Axis R/D Mode Selection" for the respective axes, and complete the settings. Then exit the digital indicator system parameter settings, for the Xinhe and Grid Scale KA-300, and finish the setup. You will then enter the diameter working mode.
