Product Description:

(1) The sand core funnel's filter plate is made by grinding glass material, screening it, and then sintering it. It can filter acidic liquids and is treated with acids, also known as acid-resistant funnel or glass hanging melt funnel. It is suitable for large-volume solution filtration in university laboratories, biomanufacturing plants, chemical industries, and other units.

(2) Bottom features a siphon filter spout for easy vacuum filtration.

(3) Glass apparatus with sand cores requires careful handling to avoid sudden temperature changes, especially when being heated and dried in an oven. Always place it in an oven at room temperature before increasing the heat, and never directly into a high-temperature oven. When removing it from the oven, wait until it has cooled to room temperature before taking it out. Otherwise, due to the differing thermal expansion coefficients of the sand core and glass wall, it is prone to cracking.
