1. Support Method
Setting up support frames outside the pipeline and plugging leaks with tools and gaskets is known as the support method. This approach is suitable for sealing larger pipelines and is adopted due to the inability to secure the main body.
2. Pressure Vessel Technique
A method of sealing leaks in equipment and pipelines by fixing a bolt directly or indirectly on the pipe is known as the top pressure method. This technique is suitable for sealing leaks such as sand holes and small holes on medium and low-pressure pipelines.
3. Clamp Method
The method of stopping leaks by securing a sealing washer in place with a clamp (also known as a clip) is referred to as the Clamp Method.
4. Capsule Sealing Method
A method of sealing leaks by tightening a gasket and cover plate with bolts on the inside or outside of a hole, known as the cover plate method. This technique is suitable for low-pressure applications and is convenient for sealing leaks in pipes.
