However, there is a significant difference in the quality of embossing printing equipment, with some still using round-to-flat embossing machines, others employing standard rotary embossing presses, and some having already transitioned to professional angle-back, satellite, or unit-type dry adhesive label printing machines. Therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach is not applicable during the transformation.

2. Offset Printing is the primary method for printing paper-based self-adhesive labels. Offset printing is characterized by its fine graphics and rich layers, suitable for large-scale printing. The printing equipment is versatile, which aligns with the characteristics of the Chinese label market. Offset printing is capable of printing thicker plastic materials, such as in-mold labels and label tags.

3. Flexography's current quality of flexible version prints is on par with offset printing, and even has its unique aspects. The advantages of this printing process include simple machine structure, low cost, and print quality that can rival offset and gravure printing. It also offers the benefit of thicker ink layers compared to offset products. Flexography uses water-based inks and UV inks, ensuring environmental friendliness.

4. The gravure printing uses a short ink path feeding system, rolls material printing, with a high degree of automation. It employs solvent-based inks, allowing for rapid drying of the ink layer, making it the primary choice for film printing. However, due to the long plate-making cycle and high costs of gravure plate-making, it is only suitable for large-scale label production.

Screen printing is a versatile printing method suitable for a wide range of substrates. Currently, many screen printing factories are handling the printing of adhesive label and film label businesses with low-cost screen printing equipment. The characteristics of screen printed labels include rich ink color and strong three-dimensionality, allowing the use of UV inks for printing film products.
