Fuel cell plates, also known as bipolar plates, are one of the core components in a fuel cell stack, positioned between individual fuel cell units. They primarily serve the following functions: Conductivity: Connect multiple single batteries in series to produce a stable current output. Gas distribution: Distribute hydrogen (anode) and oxygen/air (cathode) to the reaction area. Heat dissipation: Aid in cooling the stack through channel design. Structural support: Maintain the mechanical strength of the stack and prevent deformation.
