Mezzanine racking, as a specialized steel structure storage facility, requires on-site planning to determine the appropriate design specifications. As a mainstream type of warehouse racking, mezzanine racking not only stores small to medium-sized goods but also facilitates management and inventory retrieval.
The mezzanine storage racking is a modular design, requiring no on-site welding, offering an aesthetically pleasing and spacious structure. Compared to concrete or steel frame structures, the mezzanine racking itself supports the upper floors, providing cost-effectiveness and high space utilization. The mezzanine racking panels come in various types, such as flat steel, patterned steel, and perforated steel, to meet different requirements like fire resistance, ventilation, and lighting.
Goods can be transported between floors using forklifts, hydraulic lifting platforms, or elevators; intra-floor transportation is typically completed with small hand trucks. Mezzanine racking usually has a load-bearing capacity of 300KG to 1000KG per square meter, with columns made of round tubes that offer strong load-bearing capacity and less steel usage; the main and secondary beams can be selected based on load requirements, with steel platforms or C-shaped cold-formed steel beams.
