The pollution tower is designed based on the area of the wastewater pond, and the air exchange volume is calculated to be above 6 times per hour. The wastewater treatment pond cover features good strength, resistance to erosion, aging resistance, long lifespan, and a small coefficient of thermal expansion. An additional cover has been installed above the wastewater pond lid, creating a sealed wastewater treatment pond. This ensures that the waste gases produced in the pond are isolated from the air. An exhaust outlet has been added to the exterior of the treatment pond cover, and ventilation pipes are in place. The waste gases are then channeled into an exhaust gas pollution tower. To enhance gas collection, a glass fiber reinforced plastic fan is installed in front of the tower, drawing the gases into the tower. Inside the tower, the gases undergo two-stage spray rinsing. If the gases are acidic, alkaline liquid is circulated for absorption; if alkaline, acidic liquid is used for spray rinsing absorption. The waste gas treatment efficiency exceeds 90%, and the emissions meet national standards.
