Lightning arrester insulator

The type of lightning arrester insulator is a novel two-in-one product with a composite structure. It adopts a design philosophy of first blocking and then unblocking, enhancing the insulating performance and anti-pollution level. It is suitable for insulating supports in overhead lines and also has the protective function of preventing the lightning strike from breaking overhead insulating conductors, the explosion of porcelain insulators, and reducing lightning-induced tripouts. The principle is as follows: when the lightning overvoltage exceeds a certain value of the insulating blockage, an arc-over discharge is caused between the arc rod and steel foot of the lightning arrester pillar, forming a short-circuit path. The continuous AC arc then burns at the discharge gap to protect the conductor from being burned. This product also has a piercing power transmission function when applied to insulating wires, making installation and construction extremely convenient and reliable. It avoids the core from getting wet and corroded by not peeling off the insulating layer, thereby also reducing the labor intensity of the operators. By integrating the pillar insulator and anti-arc fittings into one (at the same potential), it is unaffected by the ring network supply load side (the side away from the power source), which makes the line more concise, aesthetically pleasing, and reduces the cost.
