The Shanghai Meixu MX-LL-116-14 Glass Rotameter primarily consists of a vertical, conical glass tube with a smaller bottom and a larger top, and a float that can move up and down inside it. As the fluid flows from bottom to top through the conical glass tube, a pressure difference is created between the float's upper and lower points, causing the float to rise. When the upward force, buoyant force, and viscous lift on the float equal its weight, the float attains a balanced position. Therefore, the fluid flow rate passing through the glass rotameter is proportionate to the height of the float's rise, which correlates to the flow area of the rotameter. The float's position height serves as a measure of flow. The measurement objects include the type of medium (liquid or gas), pressure magnitude, and chemical properties. For corrosive media, a corrosion-resistant flowmeter should be chosen.
