The Shanghai Meixu Capacitive Level Transmitter for Oil Level Measurement is based on the principle of radio frequency capacitance measurement and employs tomography technology. It dynamically analyzes various parameters of the sensor in the medium and automatically compensates, with the output signal changing linearly and continuously with the liquid level height. The entire unit has no elastic or moving parts, is shock-resistant, and easy to install, suitable for accurately measuring the oil levels of gasoline, diesel, hydraulic oil, and other weakly corrosive liquids in various environments.

Capacitive oil level transmitters are metrological-grade measuring instruments with high resolution and accuracy. They require no manual intervention, automatically calibrate, have no temperature drift, and are unaffected by changes in the medium, ensuring accurate output of liquid level signals. They also address the issue of measurement errors caused by different oil grades and significant temperature variations across regions.

Installation Method

Preparation before installation:

Check if all the tools required for installation are available and if the product accessories are complete.

Before starting operations, place fire extinguishing equipment in an easily accessible location to prevent a fire in the fuel tank during the operation.

Open the fuel tank lid to ensure adequate ventilation inside the tank.

Choose the installation location of the oil level sensor in the center of the fuel tank. First, clean the oil tank surface of any oil stains, and be careful not to let the falling debris fall into the fuel tank during the drilling process.

◆Sensor installation complete, replace the fuel tank lid, and restore to original condition.

Standard Flange Installation:

● Drill a circular hole at the center above the oil tank using a 22mm drill bit.

Place the sensor flange in the chosen position, ensuring the center hole of the flange aligns centrally with the pre-drilled hole.

Apply a uniform layer of anti-oil sealant around the circular hole, followed by placing the sealing gasket and flange in sequence above the circular hole.

● Secure the flange using five 5mm threaded studs and clean away any excess sealant from the round hole.

● Fit the sensor with an O-ring seal and install it into the flange's circular hole, securing it in place.
