We know that aluminum-plastic panels are an essential decorative element in construction, and the market offers a wide variety of options. So, what should we pay attention to when using aluminum-plastic panels?
I. Environmental Conditions
Storage Environment: Well-ventilated and dry. Avoid water accumulation, and maintain an environment temperature not exceeding 70°C.
2. Installation Environment: Avoid installing in abnormal environments such as smoke and dust, strong wind and sand, radiation, harmful gases, and chemicals.
Transportation and Handling
1. During transportation: Aluminum-plastic panels must be laid flat during transportation or storage.
During handling: When lifting, please raise all four sides of the board simultaneously. Do not pull it by one side to avoid scratching the surface.
Section 3: Installation and Usage
Installation: Interior wall panels should be used indoors rather than outdoors to ensure their longevity.
2. Usage:
When slotting with a slotting machine or a锣 machine, use a round head or a ≥90° V-shaped flat blade saw or milling cutter for slotting. Retain a 0.2—0.3mm thick plastic core board with the panel for bending, to enhance strength and toughness and prevent aluminum sheet hydrogenation.
(2) Sharp corners or cuts that damage the aluminum panel or leave excessive plastic can cause the aluminum sheet to break or the paint film to crack during bending.
Ensure even force when bending, achieve a single formation in one go, and avoid repeated bending as it may cause the aluminum panel to crack.
To maintain the flatness of the aluminum-plastic panel and enhance its wind resistance, the bent edges require an internal frame and adhesive bonding with the panel.
When installing curved surfaces, use bending equipment to bend the aluminum-plastic panel gradually to achieve the desired curved shape; do not force it all at once. The bending radius should be greater than 30 cm.
(6) Install the aluminum-plastic panels in the same plane following the same process direction; otherwise, visual color discrepancies may occur.
(7) After the aluminum-plastic panel installation, the protective film should be peeled off within 45 days; otherwise, it will age due to long-term exposure to sunlight.
Four: Cleanliness Notice
If the board surface gets contaminated during construction or use, it can be gently cleaned with a neutral detergent or alcohol. Avoid using strong acidic or alkaline detergents.
