Water ReclamationThe term "reclaimed water" may sound unfamiliar to the average person, but it refers to water that is recycled and reused. In reality, reclaimed water treatment is not far from our daily lives. Many households are accustomed to collecting water used for washing clothes and vegetables, using it for flushing toilets and mopping floors. In fact, this is a primitive and simple method of reclaimed water treatment.
Water Treatment Methods:
A method involves treating the water to drinking standards and reusing it directly in daily life, thereby achieving direct recycling of water resources. This approach is suitable for areas with severe water scarcity, although it requires significant investment and complex processes.
Another option involves treating the water to non-potable standards, primarily for uses not directly coming into contact with humans, such as flushing toilets, cleaning floors and vehicles, landscaping irrigation, firefighting, and general industrial water supply. This is a typical approach to reclaimed water treatment.
The water purification process in the recycled water system is quite simple, typically consisting of three stages. In the first stage,格栅 is primarily used to separate larger impurities from the water. Since water usage in daily life varies greatly, a dedicated reservoir is needed to regulate the water volume. Over 90% of the pollutants in the water are removed through the second stage, which includes biological treatment, physical-chemical treatment, and membrane filtration methods. All these treatment methods do not require any special human or material resources.
Traditionally, reclaimed water systems were commonly used in high-cost, high-consumption public buildings such as hotels, restaurants, and large cultural and sports facilities. However, with the decreasing availability of water resources and the growing environmental awareness among the public, an increasing number of residential buildings are now adopting reclaimed water treatment systems. Reclaimed water is gradually becoming a part of everyday life for the general population.
