Vacuum heat treatment is used for processes such as annealing, degassing, solution heat treatment, quenching, tempering, and precipitation hardening. It can also be employed for chemical heat treatment after introducing an appropriate medium. Vacuum quenching heat treatment is a metal heat treatment process where the workpiece is heated below one atmosphere (i.e., under vacuum).
Vacuum quenching oil is formulated from a base of deeply refined mineral oil, blended with a variety of functional additives. It is suitable for the quenching process under vacuum conditions for medium and small-sized materials or materials with good hardenability. The main application of vacuum quenching oil is in the machinery manufacturing industry.
The water-cooled system for vacuum quenching furnaces, the furnace shell, furnace cover, and electric heating element (water-cooled electrodes) of vacuum heat treatment furnaces, as well as intermediate vacuum door sections, all operate under vacuum and heat conditions. Working under such highly adverse conditions, it is crucial to ensure that the structural integrity of all components is maintained without deformation or damage, and that the vacuum seals do not overheat or burn. Therefore, each component should be equipped with a water-cooling system according to specific conditions to ensure the normal operation and extended service life of the vacuum heat treatment furnace.
Product Performance Features:
High-temperature characteristics, rapid cooling speed in the high and medium temperature stages
Low saturated steam pressure makes it easy to evacuate the vacuum.
Excellent thermal oxidation stability; extended oil service life
Free from harmful substances to the human body, health and environmentally friendly
Widely applicable: Suitable for quenching processes under vacuum conditions for alloy steels with medium to small sizes and good hardenability, such as high-speed steel, bearing steel, and tool steel.
