Butterfly end cap factory

Dished ends, also known as beveled spherical caps, consist of a spherical surface, a straight cylindrical edge of a certain height, and a transition section connecting the two, with the curvature radius much smaller than the spherical radius. The dished end forms a continuous curved surface, and at the junction of the three parts, there is a sudden change in the meridian curvature radius, resulting in bending stress due to the change in curvature. The combined effect of bending and tensile stress makes this part have a higher stress concentration compared to others. Compared to elliptical caps, the stress distribution is not as even, but they are easier to process, making them less than ideal for engineering use. However, they are used as a substitute for elliptical caps when it is difficult to machine the molds for elliptical caps.
